Founded in 1992 by Pastor Dave Thaxton, Bible Missionary Baptist Church was planted with a simple conviction: our community needed a fundamental, Bible-believing church. For more than thirty years we have gathered to worship, study God's Word, and love one another the way Christ has loved us.

Meet Our Pastor
Pastor John Jenkins
A graduate of Hyles-Anderson College, Brother John has been part of Bible Missionary Baptist Church since its founding. He served as Youth Pastor under Pastor Dave Thaxton before being elected pastor in 2014. His ministry is marked by warmth, faithfulness, and a deep love for this community.

Founding Pastor Dave Thaxton
Pastor Dave Thaxton founded our church in 1992 and faithfully led it for 21 years. He believed our community needed a fundamental, Bible-believing church — and the Lord used him to lead many to Christ. We continue to build on the spiritual foundation he and Pastor John laid together.
